Mohamed Shehata established it in 1940 to trade worn tires from the Egyptian army. His son, Mr. Mohamed Shehata, joined the firm in 1950, and it has since grown to become one of the leading tire companies in the Egyptian market at the time.

The Egyptian government adopted a new trade and import law in 1973, allowing the firm to begin importing and dealing branded tires, and in 1976, Ismail Mohamed Shehata joined forces with his brother, Mr. Mohamed Shehata, to rename the company Mr. Shehata. Ismail Company, his brother.

We began importing Japanese tires straight from Japan, such as Nito, Toyota, and Bridgestone, as well as trading worldwide brands such as Michelin, Continental, and Goodyear. At the same time, the business began expanding the tire idea in Egypt and quickly gained a market share of more than 50%.

We were the first to introduce household brand names to the Egyptian market, such as Hankook tires, which were originally released in 1981, and we have been the brand’s exclusive representative for more than 20 years.
